The holiday season is in full swing which can take a serious toll on our bodies. For me, it’s keeping my energy levels up that comes to be the biggest challenge. Darker days, sugar packed foods, and stress all contribute to these feelings of lower energy (aka the want to run away and hibernate). What we consume is extremely important during these times, and aside from the main meals, the snacks we eat can play a huge role in our diet. To prevent reaching for the cookies and other sugary foods when your hungry between meals, it is good to have plenty of wholesome snacks whipped up and ready to go. So that is why today I’m back with Guayaki to bring you these delicious Yerba Mate energy balls to uplift your energy and help fuel your day.
